With only two weeks to go before Halloween, millions of parents are starting to help their kids get ready to dress up for trick-or-treating or Halloween parties. To provide a treat for Moms and Dads, Celebrate with Style today announced its first "Cutest Trick-or-Treater" photo contest.
Parents are invited to upload photos of their kids--from babies through teens--all dressed up in their Halloween costumes. By doing so, they will be eligible to win a $250 prize.
"Most of us who have kids know how much fun it is to take pictures of our adorable pirates, witches, superheroes, or princesses," said publisher JoAnne Alter. "Photos of the kids dressed up in their costumes are great to share with family members and friends. They also help create wonderful memories that bring smiles to our faces year after year."
Celebrate with Style will select a group of finalists from all of the contest entries and post them in a Halloween contest photo gallery. Site visitors will determine which costumed child will be named "Cutest Trick-or-Treater"--and which Mom or Dad will win the $250 treat!
The deadline for submitting photos for the Halloween contest is November 2, 2007. Photos of the finalists will be posted on the site and visitors can vote until November 9, 2007. The winner will be announced on November 12, 2007. Contest details can be found at http://www.celebratewithstyle.com.

This cavewoman comes alive in her faux fur, pleather, and tiger print outfit. She has it all together with a pull on mini skirt and a twist-front, halter-necked bandeu top. Over that she wears a one size lace-up front, "fur" vest. The fit is easy and can be customized with a built-in, tie-back, faux cincher. The shark's tooth jagged finish around all of the edges gives her that sexy Neanderthal look. The lace-up, "fur"-trimmed cuffs and boot tops make this her prettiest prehistoric outfit ever! The tiger print head-tie tops it all off.

It's dress-up for grown-ups, and the liveliest, most imaginative collection of Halloween costume ideas--447 costume ideas to be exact--from two hip, inveterate lovers of all things Halloween . . . plus dozens of other ideas for enjoying the holiday.
Bridie Clark and Ashley Dodd are the dynamic duo, in or out of capes. For every level of interest, time--and irony--they offer suggestions. There's the ultra-quick: Pin several pair of underwear to a shirt, and voilà, A Chest of Drawers. With a bit more time, wrap yourself in aluminum foil and don a beret--mmm, French Kiss. There are Angels and Devils, all with variations (add roller skates to your Satan costume, and go as Hell on Wheels). Come Hither costumes--Lady Godiva, Chippendales Dancer, Stripper Emerging from a Cake. Celeb sightings, from the Dalai Lama to Madonna (six Madonnas, actually, from all of her phases). Costumes for couples--Sweethearts Caught on Lover's Lane, Fred and Wilma Flintstone--and costumes for whole groups of friends, including how to appear as the Sopranos or the hapless castaways on Gilligan's Island. And for the children, check out Nursery Rhymes, Fairy Tales, and Other Costumes for the Young and Young at Heart.
Finally, for the friend who just can't bear the thought of dressing up but still wants to join the fun, suggest the Time Traveler from the Day Before Halloween.

Everybody would feel better if they were attended to by this Bedside Nurse. Her corset-style, zipper cupped dress features a dropwaist with a circular skirt and built in poofy petticoat. Puff sleeves and a ribbon lace-up trim turn her nurse's uniform totally feminine. The tie-on hat has a big red heart with the medical cross in the middle which tells the world that she loves being a nurse. She uses her stethoscope to see how people's hearts beat a little faster when they see her.
